Russell Noga and his wife Emmalou started the ambulance service in 1977. Responding out of Noga Funeral Home located on South Mill Street in the City of New Castle.

In, 1989 Noga’s recognized the growth in the northern end of the county. Opening Station 20 in Neshannock Township.

As demand increased Noga Ambulance expanded services to the Ellwood City area. Station 30 opened in 1994. The location serves the southern end of Lawrence and northern Beaver Counties.

By early 2009, the Company expanding ambulance operations adding Station 10 on Butler Avenue. Committing significant resources in the City of New Castle. The station is a result of the Company’s continued commitment to the community.

In 2010, Noga Ambulance partnered with Area Fleet Services L.L.C. (AFS). Adding 5,000 square foot commercial vehicle maintenance facility onto our Station 10 location. The partnership with AFS ensures our Ambulances undergo an aggressive, proactive maintenance program. Ensuring our fleet stays in top performance upholding the highest safety standards.

As the area’s largest ambulance service. Noga is the only ambulance provider in Lawrence County to have three stations. Enabling us to provide a timely response to all regions of the County. Multiple municipalities named Noga as the primary provider to their communities. Noga ambulance is proud to be an integral part of Lawrence County community we call home.

The Company is currently under the ownership and guidance of Russ & Anne Noga. As a fourth generation funeral director, former flight paramedic, and elected Lawrence County Corner. The Noga family remains dedicated to public service. Continuing the strong public safety standards forged over the last three decades.

Close to 40 years have passed since our humble beginning in 1977. As a privately held and funded company. Our current staff of dedicated employees, operates an expansive fleet of EMS vehicles. Responding from three physical locations. Noga Ambulance Service, Inc. provides EMS services to every municipality in Lawrence County.
